The International Labour Organization has launched a COVID-19 Behaviour Change Awareness Campaign in Bangladesh in a bid to educate and protect workers in the country’s ready-made garment (RMG) sector. In Gazipur and Chattogram, the campaign will support more than 20,000 people in what are dense communities of workers.

It comes ahead of a proposed week of relaxed COVID-19 restrictions, between July 15-22, which will allow citizens to celebrate the Eid-ul-Azha festival.
